So I took the plunge into "driving shoes" because I found my vans really hard to heel-toe in. And with half off, I decided why not. Anyone else have the Mercedes AMG hyper drivers? I was trying to buy a pair of drift cat 5's, but the only ones they had in my size were Ferrari Branded. And eh, I don't think I could pull those off. So, anyone else pick anything up from the sale, or own Puma's?

I've been daily wearing Pumas (Drift Cats mostly, currently wearing Future Cats) for about 5 years now.

Every time I get a new pair, it's a week of agony while they break in, and then 9-12 months of comfort.

I very well might buy something now that you've alerted me to the sale. If your planning to wear the driving shoes only for track days and the such and not everyday shoes then it would be easy to pull the ferraris off... or you could just buy a ferrari with them.

I tried a pair of drift cats on a while ago, and they didn't bother me to bad since I went a size up. I just thought they would be cool to wear, even driving the Honda haha

Nah, these are going to be every day shoes I think, so I went with the AMG shoes with the black and silver. With a tad bit of mint

Something I discovered as a wrestler is that wrestling shoes are the exact same as driving shoes, go to any sports authority and get some Asics for $30

I was just looking at those. I would prefer the plain black and silver ones, but they don't have many sizes. I've always thought those AMG shoes look awesome; hope you enjoy them. BTW are you able to give me oppo post capability?

Man, my favorite non-FiveFinger shoes are my old Pumas from, like, 2007. They were some kind of special edition with Swarovski crystals on the side, but otherwise, they're all black. They have the tire tread bottoms—not sure what they're called anymore.

They're pretty faded out now, but almost none of the really cool color combos come in womens' sizes. I had to get dude sizes for my fireproof ones, haha.

I've worn them in the snow/mud/rain/everywhere and they're missing some of the stones. I really wish I could find a place to repair the missing rhinestones or even re-dye them black again. And I really, really wish more of the driving shoes came in awesome colors (read: not just pink) in womens' sizes. I'm kind of small even for a woman, so ARRRGGGGHHH!

But they're awesome for narrow feet. Completely awesome.

My feet are kinda wide, but I got over that I think by going a size up
